My name is Christi Gmyr and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York State as well as a National Certified Counselor practicing in Baldwinsville, NY. My services include therapy near Syracuse, NY and the surrounding areas. I have been working in the Mental Health field for over 10 years in a variety of settings in both therapist and management positions.
I have extensive experience providing individual therapy to children, adolescents and adults. Academically, I have a Master of Science degree in Community Mental Health Counseling which I earned from University of Rochester in 2009. From there I became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC) before returning to school to earn a second Master of Science degree in School Counseling in 2014, also from University of Rochester.
I currently have a full time practice providing individual therapy to adults throughout the Baldwinsville, Liverpool, Clay, Camillus, Fulton, N. Syracuse, Phoenix and greater Syracuse, NY areas.

Online therapy provides an alternate solution to individuals whose lives prohibit them from participating in traditional face-to-face therapy by offering video conferencing.
Video conferencing provides a viable option to people who want to participate in therapy but are unable to due to hectic schedules, geographic location, and life demands.

I am on the second floor, which is located directly above, 'The Deli'.
My standard office hours when I see clients are Monday-Thursday from 9:30am-4:30pm.
Fridays are typically reserved for continuing education and professional growth, networking events and administrative tasks.
I may or may not be in the office on Fridays, but please feel free to call with questions or concerns.
If I am out of the office or unavailable, I will try to return calls by the following work day.
