Services
Leigh Bryant, LICSW, founder, has worked over 30 years with clients around issues of anxiety, trauma and challenges with life transitions (such as divorce, childbirth, death of a loved one).
A major clinical focus of hers is on maternal wellness.
She is also a Level II EMDR practitioner.
A co-founder of the practice in 1992, much of her time is now spent as an administrator of entire practice.
She does see clients in her home, located near the Bedford NH office.
In her free time, she loves hanging out with family and friends along with her wide array of animals which include 2 ponies from the Personal Pony program.
We welcome you to Counseling Associates of MA & NH and appreciate you entrusting your care or your family's care to us.
We take that honor to heart and wish to provide you with as safe and enriching experience as possible.
Please plan to arrive 10 -15 minutes early to your first appointment to fill out basic paperwork.
Your therapist will leave the necessary paperwork in the waiting room on a clipboard.
The expanded HIPPA guidelines will be in the waiting room regardless of whether the material is filled out beforehand or in the waiting room.
Perhaps you have been to therapy before or maybe this is your first time.
Regardless, it is a new relationship and an attempt to get perspective and help from a different resource and requires thoughtful consideration.
There is no "one way" that all therapists work and, hence, it is good to ask yourself what you expect and want from your therapist and the experience itself.
It is also important to have some idea what you can expect from the first few sessions and even beyond.
Please do know that we expect you to have questions and value your feedback at any time about how you feel the process is going.
