We are trained in a variety of family therapy models and have also received specialized training in working with couples in distress, couples who desire to improve their relationship, parents who are struggling with the difficult task of bringing up young people, those who struggle with food and sex addiction, people who struggle with chronic pain or illness, children with autism or other emotional difficulties, and working with victims of traumatic experiences.
We ourselves have been married 24 years, are parents and have experienced the challenges and joys that life brings too.We enjoy working collaboratively with the people we meet and like learning with those who come to share their stories with us. William Beeves is a Marriage and Family Therapist, licensed in both Wisconsin and Minnesota, who has extensive cross cultural experience both as a member of the military and as a civilian.
He obtained his master's degree in Marriage and Family therapy from UW-Stout.
In addition to being an EMDR trained clinician, he has specialized training for and experience working alongside of children who have autism, problems controlling their anger, and problems with being hyper or impulsive.
William enjoys working with children in ways that empower them to make decisions and learn giving them opportunities to share their perspectives and take responsibility for their decisions.
