We believe that counseling can provide the safety necessary to first examine what your foundation consists of now which is showing up in your current struggles and circumstances.
That's what happened thirty years ago for us (Roger and Carol Shepherd)! Our foundations were shaken and dismantled and the rebuilding process began. We started Florida Counseling Foundation 29 years ago! It is our belief that real transformation can only happen in environments of grace and relationships of trust-that's how our transformation has happened and continues to happen.

Services
Since 1990, Florida Counseling Foundation has served the greater Orlando area with professional counseling.
We are a team of licensed mental health counselors and registered mental health interns who are engaged in the process of growing and maturing in our own lives and relationships.
We have all received training in the counseling process and continue to pursue training and wisdom in special interest areas.
We do not belong to any HMO's or preferred provider health care plans.
To determine if your health care coverage will pay any part of the fee, simply call your provider and ask if they cover any "out of network" mental health counseling.

Roger has been working with people for over 45 years.
He spent the first 20 years discipling and mentoring while serving on staff with the Navigators and Discipleship Ministries.
At age 39 he went back to school and earned his second Masters degree.
Since 1995, he has been supervising counseling students part time at Reformed Theological Seminary and Registered Interns who are working toward licensure.
He loves working with couples and families.
He has been married to Carol for 50 years and they have five children and 10 grandchildren.
