Dr. Kassoff maintains an active clinical treatment practice delivering caring psychotherapy to Adults, Adolescents and Children. Treatment is generally based on the Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT) model, a scientific empirically-based treatment method. The majority of the practice is devoting to working with individuals to address their emotional and behavioral needs.
Dr. Kassoff has also been performing data-based psychological, psychoeducational, neuropsychological, and forensic examinations in matters of child custody, international child custody (Hague Convention cases on International parental child abduction), Personal Injury, Psychological impact of Civil Rights violations, Medical Malpractice, Post-Trauma, Article 81 Incapacitation (incompetency), CSE hearings and educational litigation, etc.

He holds a dual doctorate in Clinical Psychology and School-Community Psychology, as well as Master's degrees in Clinical Psychology and Educational Psychology & Evaluation as well as certificates in Rational Emotive Therapy from The Albert Ellis Institute and Advanced Clinical Biofeedback from the Institute for Psychosomatic Research.

He has been appointed by the court to provide unbiased forensic child custody examinations to assist the court in developing a custody and child care plan in matrimonial litigation.
Dr. Kassoff is also available to assist counsel in the interpretation of other psychological examinations.
This assistance often provides extremely useful information for developing a successful disputation of an unfavorable examination.

The hourly fees for the Services on the Schedule listed below will be quoted directly to the client.
Dr. Kassoff may accept other fee agreements that are standard or customary for a particular agency or court.
Such evaluations would be accepted on a case-by-case basis.
In general, the Payment Policy for psychological evaluations and reports involves a retainer system.
The fee is payable as an initial retainer amount, determined based on the complexity of the case, with the retainer being replenished from time to time as work proceeds based upon the hourly rate of the activities performed.
