As the founder and owner of HARP Christian Counseling, she has an undying passion to help others experience the joy in life that God intended.
She founded HARP out of a vision to serve others by offering Christian counseling using evidence based clinical treatment methods integrated with a Biblical perspective and devotion to Christian values and beliefs.
Lora has worked with many individuals and families over the last 26 years and has successfully assisted clients facing all types of crises and challenges including depression, anxiety, divorce, parenting issues, marital distress, substance abuse and dependence, domestic violence, mood and thought disorders, PTSD, traumatic life events, adjustment disorders, developmental disorders, grief and bereavement, and end of life issues.

The office of HARP Christian Counseling was specifically designed and constructed for the counseling practice in 2016 under the direction of the agency's founder and owner, Lora Williams.
This office features a large parking area, two private entrances, two lobby areas, comfortable and private therapy offices, and a healing and prayer garden along the side and rear of the outdoor space.
This outdoor garden and therapy space may be used as a setting for a therapy session, for prayer, for the enjoyment of nature, or for splashing in the fountain on a hot summer day (a favorite of children).
This office features a large parking area, two private entrances, two lobby areas, comfortable and private therapy offices, and a healing and prayer garden along the side and rear of the outdoor space.

HARP Christian Counseling clinicians accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, BCBS NC State Health, Blue Medicare, Medicare, MedCost, Aetna, Multiplan, Cigna, United Health Care, and Tricare.
In addition, we occasionally accept a limited number of referrals from Employer Assistance plans, such as Optum EAP and McLaughlin Young EAP.
In the event that our clinicians are out of network with your particular plan, on some occasions the cost of services may be equivalent to seeing an in network provider.
We will attempt to confirm coverage and discuss expected out of pocket costs before you see a clinician.
