Does it ever feel like you are trapped in an endless cycle of anger, distance and disconnection?. Do any of your children have emotional or behavioral challenges that just don't know how to deal with?. Does divorce seem inevitable and you just need help figuring out how to do this in the least damaging way. Whatever issues or concerns you may be facing, here at my Center we can help.

We understand how uncomfortable and stressful it can be to start therapy and we are committed to creating a safe, trusting space where you will feel comfortable expressing yourself and seeking the guidance and support you need to experience positive changes in your life. We believe in holistic practice that acknowledges the mind, body and soul connection and that focuses on the importance of relationships and systems.

In fact, our therapists are experts in working with relationship systems of all kinds. After all, even if you come to individual therapy, what we often find is that the things we are struggling with are connected to other people in our lives, hence this is why it is important to work with a therapist who understands relationship systems.
Services
This will help you ensure that you have the maximum amount of time to spend talking with your therapist rather than doing paperwork.
When you meet with your therapist for the first time, she or he will ask you to read both the Consent for Treatment and the Notice of Privacy Practices documents and to sign the last pages of the Consent for Treatment form acknowledging you have been provided with both documents.
To help increase the time you will have in your first meeting with your therapist, we recommend that you print out and read both of these documents before you come for your first appointment.
Whether you are struggling in your relationships with other people or with yourself, we provide a full range of therapy services to meet the specific needs you may have.
Feelings of depression, anxiety, anger and rage, grief and loss, loneliness, feeling "not good enough" or an overall lack of meaning and joy are common problems that many individuals struggle with.
You may also be struggling with behavior patterns that are undermining the quality of your life, such as addictive relationships with things like alcohol, food, sex, shopping or technology.

Insurance: Accepted carriers are: Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna and State (Husky).
If you have insurance with another carrier your policy may have out-of-network benefits that we are able to access.
If you contact us directly we can verify if your benefits will cover services and what percentage of the fee is covered by your particular plan.
However, if you are able to pay directly for services, there are several advantages to not using insurance.
First, insurance companies will not reimburse claims unless you have a diagnosable mental disorder.
Your overall mental health and the health of your relationships are very much affected by how well you take care of your body.
As we have all heard many times over, there are several basic things we should all do in the interests of staying physically healthy such as eating a proper diet, exercising regularly, limiting alcohol consumption, not smoking, and getting enough sleep.
It just makes sense that when your body is healthy and functioning at its best, you tend to feel better emotionally and psychologically.
