Michael is a graduate of Central College in Pella, Iowa with a Bachelor's in Psychology and a graduate of The Chicago School of Professional Psychology with a Master's in Clinical Psychology. He is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Iowa and a National Certified Counselor. Michael is a memeber of the American Counseling Association and the Humanistic Counselor's division of the ACA.
He is also a member of the Internation OCD Foundation. Michael has also worked as an Adjunct Professor of Psychology at Des Moines Area Community College. Children in the Middle is currently done with individual appointments and can be done in-person or virtually.
Children In The Middle is a group educational course that is provided on a regular basis at Sullivan Counseling.
The course is usually completed 1-2 Saturday's per month from 9 am - 12 pm.
Children in the Middle is a required course for anyone going through the divorce process or having a change in their child custody agreement.
Sullivan Counseling is approved to provide this for the Fifth District Court of Iowa which includes Des Moines metro and most adjoining counties in that court district.
