Melissa Carlisle Golden received a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling, a Master of Theology, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Counselor Education and Supervision from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Golden has been trained in several modalities including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Play Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, the Gottman Marriage Institute, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Dr. Golden works primarily from a family systems perspective, utilizing techniques of empirically-effective therapies to help clients reach their personal counseling goals.

Individual, couple, and family sessions are available to our clients.
