As a licensed professional counselor, my goal is for you to not only feel better but to gain an awareness that you have the inner strength to overcome obstacles and feel more in control. My private practice, Life in Progress Counseling, provides an environment that is safe, accepting and understanding. Our collaborative discussions will be private, supportive and positive.

I am passionate about working with people to address challenging situations in their lives. My areas of expertise include: stress, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, sleep issues, crisis, trauma, life adjustment issues (career, health and education), coping strategies and mindfulness. The main focus of my work is with adult individuals and couples/marriage counseling.

Settings I have worked at include: private practices, hospital psychology departments, college career and counseling centers, and community organizations. I believe in utilizing holistic approaches that fit the individual needs. I often find a person-centered and solution-focused approach to be beneficial by providing genuineness, acceptance and empathy.
