Thank you for your interest in my psychotherapy practice. Since the relationship between client and therapist provides the bedrock for growth, change, and healing in the therapy process; the importance of finding a practitioner you are comfortable talking with is paramount. The information you will find in this website is designed to assist you in making this important choice.

I am licensed psychologist with a private practice located in the heart of downtown Davis. In the ten years I have been in practice, I have worked with a wide variety of clients including teens, college/graduate students, and adults of all ages. I come to the profession of psychology in midlife bringing a down to earth, eclectic approach to guiding individuals through a process of transformation.

I feel privileged to work as a psychologist-it is the most meaningful and rewarding work I have ever done. I began my career in my early twenties in clothing and department stores as a manager. I enjoyed the social nature of the work, but wanted to impact people's lives through education using the skills and knowledge I acquired while earning my Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Humanities.

Woodland, Davis, West Sacramento: Provided therapy for adults with a range of diagnosis from Adjustment Disorders to Schizophrenia.

Private Practice Intern: Provided therapy for a broad range of adults and teens struggling with life transitions, addictions, family crisis, grief, low self-esteem, attention deficit disorder, educational problems, anxiety, and depression.
Through my interactive style, I assist people in turning toward their deep inner wisdom to facilitate healing.
I am committed to providing a safe, warm, and comfortable atmosphere for those that have the courage to engage in this profound process.
Therapy is about change and transformation-transmuting fear and anxiety to courage and honesty; grief, sadness, and loss to self efficacy; inner conflict and perfectionism to ego strength and resilience; and low self image and fear of connection to self knowledge, acceptance, and mature dependency in relationships.
My office is located on the third floor of the Mansion Square Building in downtown Davis with easy access to freeways, as well as, the UC Davis campus.
Two-hour street parking is available, however, places are taken sometimes at lunch and in the early evenings.
Parking is also available for 3 hours in the Regal Theater parking lot on First and F Street, just a few steps away from my office.
I offer both day and evening appointments Monday through Thursday.
If you are interested in exploring the possibility of beginning therapy with me, please do not hesitate to call or email.
