Brooke completed her practicum at Casa Youth Shelter, with a focus on working with adolescents (ages 12-18) and their families in crisis.
Following her practicum year at Casa Youth Shelter, Brooke worked at the shelter facilitating psychoeducation groups for teens teaching coping and communication skills.
