If it is requested of you to obtain a Drug and Alcohol evaluation, perhaps due to a DWI or other legal issue, we will provide a 1-2 hour full psychological and substance abuse evaluation, along with any recommendations for further treatment if necessary.
A full report will be provided to you, with a turn around time of 1-2 business days for completion of this report.
As part of the medical clearance to obtain Bariatric Surgery, a full psychological evaluation is required to insure that you are ready and have the emotional capacity to cope with the major life changes required for a safe and healthy recovery post surgery and then life long.

As a courtesy to you, we will verify all of your mental health and substance abuse benefits, obtain any required authorizations on your behalf (if permitted by the insurance company), submit all claims, and will make contact with the insurance company in the event there is a denial of services.
With your permission, we will attempt to do all the work for you when it comes to negotiating with your insurance company.
While our goal for many clients is to learn the coping skills required to manage symptoms without medications, there are times when medication is necessary in conjuction with psychotherapy to manage symptoms.
