With my office located in Brentwood, Tennessee, I serve individual clients in the Nashville area. Attending therapy, whether it be the first time, or the first time with a new therapist, can certainly create considerable anxiety. I strive to make sure all clients feel welcome, safe, and comfortable enough to talk about issues that they need to discuss and explore. Like many young college students, I lacked work experience and clarity about my career path.
After graduating with a liberal arts degree from Northwestern University, I worked for several years in the business field.
In search of more fulfilling work, I continued to work in business while earning a master's degree in counseling from the University of Dayton.
Leaving the business world behind, I completed a Ph.
D. in counseling psychology from Purdue University in 2008, which included a pre-doctoral internship at a college counseling center.
