Creative Reminiscence & Psychotherapy
Creative Reminiscence & Psychotherapy is dedicated to the promotion of psychological well being of adult individuals and couples. The first step in this process may be treatment of psychological suffering. Do you experience fear, anxiety, poor appetite, inability to sleep or make decisions? Is there something from your past that just won't stop nagging you?

Is it ever difficult to get started in the morning? Is your marriage in trouble? Do you feel inadequate or that you have failed yourself or others? Do you ever feel trapped or alone and misunderstood? Is your job a constant stress? Does anger interfere at home or work? Do you wish it were easier to just say "no"? When you examine your inner landscape in a supportive psychotherapeutic experience, you will begin to understand the emotional influences that may be preventing you from having a fulfilled life.

I need to provide that space for you by empathic listening and acceptance. Your insights will help you gain an expanded perspective on yourself and build an emotional well-being and resilience to help you navigate the environments that can make life difficult.
Services
Psychotherapy is a process in which you meet weekly with a psychologist in a 45-minute session and examine what is troubling you.
Sessions may be with you, or with you and your spouse/partner.
Feeling comfortable with the psychologist is of paramount importance.
Research has shown that the key to successful psychotherapy is a positive therapeutic alliance between the client and psychologist.
In a supportive, non-critical atmosphere, you will learn to articulate feelings of distress.
You will also learn skills that promote change.
In addition to the treatment of distress, Creative Reminiscence & Psychotherapy is dedicated to prevention of psychological suffering.
In a series of 45-minute psychotherapy sessions, you will explore patterns that have been self-defeating, as well as those that have been beneficial.
Through reflection, you will come to recognize your unique strengths.
The emphasis is on well-being, creativity, and happiness rather than merely helping people survive.
This reorientation of psychotherapy fosters strengths rather than weaknesses.
