We practice cognitive-behavioral therapy.
This method of therapy involves examining the relationship between one's thoughts/beliefs, feelings, and behavior.
Often times, the way we think influences how we feel.
We also use solution focused brief therapy.
This method focuses on therapy being brief and focusing on solutions rather than problems.
In other words, therapy will be goal-oriented and solution-focused.
At the initial appointment, a clinical interview will be conducted, which will include a discussion of current symptoms, background history, and an overview of treatment and goals.

Everyone experiences stress and obstacles in their lives.
Major life changes, such as marriage, divorce, or death of a loved one can be difficult to adjust to or trigger feelings of anxiety or depression.
Even if you've been successful in handling life changes in the past, sometimes the challenges of life can become overwhelming and people need an environment where they can discuss things privately.
In other instances, people have chronic psychological problems that they want to address.
No mental health professional can guarantee success in treatment.
