I work with patients to design custom treatment plans based on the most current research in mental health and use empirically supported therapies to address patients' symptoms. Talking about your problems with an unbiased third party can do wonders to improve trust, communication, affection, and overall enjoyment of your relationship. My name is Dr. Nathaniel Mills.
I am a licensed psychologist (PSY 23861) specializing in the treatment of adolescents and adults. As a psychotherapist, researcher, and educator, I recognize that even the most gifted people find themselves in situations they can't think their way out of. My mission is to. I offer individual and group psychotherapy, relationship counseling, and organizational development and change coaching.
I help individuals, couples, families, businesses and non-profits find the tools they need to get "unstuck" and moving towards a better tomorrow.

While I work with many patients who receive reimbursement for our work from their insurance companies, I no longer directly bill insurance for patients.
Patients are asked to pay for treatment at the time of service and will be given paperwork to submit to their insurance for reimbursement if they choose to do so.
This allows patients to decide what information they wish to share with their insurance company about their diagnoses and treatment and insures greater confidentiality in our work.
Other clinics who bill insurance directly must share patients' diagnoses and information about their treatment with insurance companies.

In short, YES!
Even Consumer Reports says so.

Of the approximately 7,000 respondents who answered the mental health survey questions, 2,900 indicated that they had received services from a mental healthcare professional (Seligman, 1995).
