Child custody evaluation is a process through which information and opinions bear-ing upon the custody of, parenting of, and access to children can be made known to the court. Evaluators are responsible to all consumers of their services; namely, the courts, the participants in the evaluation process, and affected others. The court ordered and required class for divorcing parents, parents who are not married but have a child together, or those making any kind of legal custody changes.
