As always, MCC has the goal of providing access to behavioral & psychotherapeutic counseling for individuals seeking ways to maintain wellness, relieve pain, reduce stress and/or recover from emotional, psychological, physical or spiritual injury or illness. Whatever issues you are struggling with, you can find encouragement, help and healing through counseling.

We accept direct pay as well as insurance reimbursement when available. Currently we accept a variety of insurances. Please check with your insurance company to confirm coverage. MCC will work with you and your insurance company to establish in-network coverage if available. We also work with out-of-network coverage and have a flexible scale available.

A relationship goes through numerous phases during its life cycle, and it is obvious for it to have a few rough patches.
Services
As a therapist, possessing a strong combination of values, passion and experience, I love incorporating a sense of humour into my counselling sessions along with an awareness of the seriousness of each person's individual issues.
Part of personal freedom is learning to truly be you, to laugh and to experience joy, without requiring anyone else's permission.
Believing in people's inherent abilities, I specialize in 'Personal Growth', helping people change, to improve their lives and develop their full potential as they create the life they want to live.
There are some predictable stages that most people pass through after losing something or someone important.
In her work on death and dying, Elisabeth KublerRoss outlined the five stages of grieving.
Bargaining: If you'll just let him live I'll promise to go to church every Sunday for the rest of my life.
Depression: Feeling deep sadness, disturbed sleep and eating patterns, thoughts of suicide, excessive crying.
The grieving process involves experiencing all five stages, although not always in this order.
It is reported that suicide is the cause of death for about 30,000 people each year in the United States.
Since many suicides are not reported as such, the actual number is likely much higher.
Suicide goes unreported because of its stigma or because family members find it too painful to confront the truth.
Rich people and poor people alike commit suicide.
Suicide is an equal opportunity killer; and is chosen by people from every group imaginable.
The most common victims are white males aged 65 and older.
