I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor ( LH 60551160) in the state of Washington and received my Master's in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School. I completed a year-long internship with Seattle Therapy Alliance where I provided individual therapy to women from a primarily psychoanalytic, feminist orientation before transitioning to private practice in 2013.
I also have a history as a professional photographer and hold a degree in Photojournalism from Western Kentucky University. During my graduate training, I earned certification in PhotoTherapy in Vancouver, BC and have worked with clients in creating photographs and image interpretation as a way to access and understand subconscious workings in the mind.
As part of my personal creative history, I am grateful to have traveled extensively doing humanitarian work and documenting other cultures, using my lens to engage others' stories. These experiences continue to inform how I consider and interact with the people who see me.

Services
As a therapist, I am empathic, curious, and straightforward.
Because I believe healing most powerfully occurs within the relational realm, I will be active and collaborative with you as we carefully forge a connection with one another.
In my experience, change accompanies a willingness to work with the past as it plays out with those in our lives- particularly as it relates to the relationship between therapist and client.
You may be entering therapy for a variety of reasons.
You may have come to desire change, yearn for healing, or long for relief from pain.
