I have a strong focus on working with women with various concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, self worth, assertiveness, infertility, perinatal/pregnancy related mood disorders and parenting. I also have extensive training and experience treating eating disorders and self injury, and OCD. With nearly 20 years of combined medical and mental health experience, I am able to assist you with your therapy needs on a multi faceted level.

I work with you in order to establish realistic, attainable goals to feel better and manage your symptoms. I believe in the mind body connection and often incorporate lifestyle assessments in order to gain more insight and the connection between physical and emotional healing. Research has shown these methods are the foundation of mental and physical health.

Before opening my own private practice in 2015, I worked in inpatient and outpatient settings, alcohol and drug rehabilitation centers and community mental health centers. I also have experience in community outreach and education, creating workshops and trainings.
Services
Sessions are for one on one treatment and last from 45-60 minutes.
As an individual client, I can focus on your specific needs and address any questions and concerns you may have as soon as treatment begins.
In addition, I offer parental support and education if I am treating your child.
During individual therapy, I will work with you to determine your personal goals and struggles and together, we can create a healthy path to achieve those goals.
In addition, I encourage a holistic approach, one that implements looking into your daily routine as a whole, such as eating habits, relaxation and meditation and self awareness.
I see children and adolescents from ages twelve and up.
This often includes family therapy with the parents (and siblings if needed and when appropriate.)
In treatment, I utilize multiple therapy modalities including music, art and play therapy.
These have been shown to be effective not only in therapy, but in communicating in every day life.
It also encourages a trusting relationship between the therapist and child to enhance treatment.
I work collaboratively with your child's physician and school in order for them to receive the best possible treatment and fully benefit in all areas of their life.
