My name is Dr. Nilsa Rivera, a Licensed Psychologist in Naples, Florida who helps individuals, couples, families, and children work toward their goals of addressing problems with a focus on building solutions. I provide psychotherapy, also known simply as therapy or counseling, as well as psychological testing, neuropsychological testing, and I am also a trained forensic psychologist.
People are frequently seen in therapy for marriage counseling, anxiety, and depression. I am often referred to by physicians to conduct testing for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, often referred to as ADD or ADHD, testing for students for gifted programs, memory testing, and dementia/Alzheimer's testing to identify individual strengths and weaknesses.
I am also trained as a Forensic Psychologist who offers Court-ordered and attorney-referred forensic evaluations (i.e., competency to stand trial, insanity, civil competencies, guardianship, etc.). Counseling and testing services are available in both English and Spanish.
