I am a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience with diverse patient populations. Specialty areas include Depression and Anxiety Disorders, PTSD Treatment, Trauma Therapy, Hypnotherapy, and issues related to Neurological Disorders. My orientation to therapy is psychodynamic. I have had lengthy training and experience in clinical psychology with cognitive behavioral therapy and hypnotherapy where needed.

I have over 20 years of experience treating patients through Psychoanalysis, and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. I am currently serving as Chair of the Executive and Education Committee of the Nashville Center for Psychoanalysis and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. Therapy Setting: My office is in a suite of six offices on the fourth floor. My office itself will feel more like a living room than what one would expect from a doctor's office.

I hope you will feel comfortable and safe. Therapy Duration: Individual sessions are typically 45 minutes long, but can be longer if needed.

My orientation is based on training in Clinical Neuropsychology, Psychoanalysis and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.
I have had lengthy training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and use this modality where deemed necessary and productive.
I am happy to offer a phone consultation to prospective patients prior to their first appointment at no charge.
