Dr. Amanda Zold recently joined the Country Counseling team as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. She received her doctoral degree in Clinical-Community Psychology with a Rural and Indigenous Emphasis at the University of Alaska. She completed her predoctoral training at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson followed by postdoctoral residency at the Institute of Living/Hartford Hospital.

She specializes in the treatment of chronic and persistent mental health disorders and trauma, including treatment of psychosis. She provides evidence-based, recovery-oriented care for individuals, couples, and families. She also provides group therapy in modalities such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, supportive therapy, and body-based approaches to symptom management.

In her free time, she enjoys hiking with her two pups (Daisy and Dingo), yoga, and exploring new places! April is known as Autism Awareness month. People used to have varying diagnoses when it came to Autism.

Country Counseling, LLC, was established by Ray and Leia Hughey.
Our counseling center began as a small mental health clinic, serving the farming communities between Eugene and Corvallis.
Seeing the need in our community for addiction services, we partnered with Exodus Recovery Services, LLC.
They share our offices and locations.
Our main office is located in Harrisburg, Oregon, and provides a full range of services for people in the surrounding rural communities.
We are conveniently located between Corvallis and Eugene on the border between Lane and Linn counties.
Equine therapy can benefit a wide array of problems, such as ADHD, anxiety, autism, depression, and PTSD to name a few.

Individual counseling and therapy are one-on-one sessions with a member of our accredited staff.
The services we provide are designed to address whatever is keeping you from leading the life you want to live.
Individual therapy is an organic and naturally unfolding process.
The therapist and client collaborate to define the goals of the therapy and the means to achieve those goals.
Each therapist-client relationship is unique.
Much of the change that occurs in individual therapy is a result of this unique blend, in addition to skill building to address the unique situations a client may present with.

These benefits may include, but are not limited to; finding a greater ability to express thoughts and emotions, reduction of symptoms and/or use of substances, avoidance of difficulties with travel or transportation, there may be a greater opportunity to prepare in advance for therapy sessions.

Country Counseling, LLC, is currently seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist AND a Licensed Professional Counselor to provide mental health assessment, counseling, and supervision for interns seeking licensure.
The person who will be successful in this position is one who enjoys working in a small clinic and is comfortable working within the culture of a rural setting.
Cultural sensitivity is a must.
