Lighthouse Christian Counseling is a Christ-centered professional counseling center serving the mid-shore area of Maryland. We desire to be a resource to the churches and community for people who are struggling, hurting and disillusioned. In our counseling services, we seek to come alongside the church's ministry in our counseling services to assist people to embrace God's purposes for their lives and strengthen them so in turn they may enrich the body of Christ.

Julie Hickson is a licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Maryland and John is the Director taking care of all the needs of the counseling center.
We believe that God had placed on our heart the need to offer to the mid-shore a Christian Counseling Center to meet the needs of the body of Christ and the community.
With offices conveniently located in Centreville and Kent Island, Lighthouse offers a safe environment with confidentiality for people to grow in confidence through their challenges of life.

Our counselors are committed to protect confidentiality and also protect the integrity of the family.
If something comes up that needs to be addressed with the parents it is usually done by the child in a family session.
