Lisa Call Counseling Services
If so, I'm here to help. I am a marriage and family therapist in California who helps adults, teens, couples, and families overcome their challenges using Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT). You feel disconnected from your partner and you keep having the same arguments over and over again without ever being able to resolve your differences. Couples Therapy and marriage counseling can help you figure out what's causing your issues.

It will support you both as you work through your troubles so you can recapture those feelings of love, tenderness, and connection you once felt. As the divorce rate grows, you want to do everything in your power to begin your marriage the right way and stop relationship problems before they even occur. You want to learn how to communicate better with your partner.

Premarital counseling helps you get to know your partner better. It identifies potential places where you may encounter problems and helps you work through them by building strong communication skills.

Solid, healthy relationships with our spouse, partner, and family members are based upon strong attachment bonds where we feel safe and secure We never outgrow the attachment needs to be seen, heard, and accepted but sometimes we become stuck in negative patterns of interaction and need help.
Your body is tense during the day, then you have trouble sleeping at night because you can't stop worrying.
You replay past interactions with other's worrying that you may have annoyed or upset them.
Sometimes, you turn down social engagements because you're so nervous.
Living with anxiety 24/7 is like riding on a rollercoaster that you can't get off.
One moment you are having fun and the next you feel scared and completely out of control with your emotions.
You may feel like you're walking through a field with land mines, never knowing when there might be a dangerous explosion.
If you are researching depression treatment, chances are you already suspect you may have it.
For too long, you haven't felt like yourself and may have noticed that you feel different than you used to feel.
You've noticed that you don't have as much patience and get irritated quickly by others.
Perhaps, you have less energy, or you have lost interest in your favorite activities.
Maybe, you're feeling very sad, have a lack of motivation, or feelings of despair that you just can't shake.
And, these feelings have taken control of your life.
Brainspotting is a powerful, evidence-based tool was developed in 2003 by social worker, psychotherapist, and performance coach, Dr. David Grand after his observations during EMDR therapy sessions.
In his work with clients, Grand noticed that certain feelings seemed to be associated with specific eye movements.
In his research, Grand observed that for example, a client might look to the right when discussing sad feelings about a breakup and that same client might look down and toward the left when remembering an assault.
