My name is Erica Ewart, and I'm a licensed mental health therapist in Seattle, WA and have been working in private practice for the last 8 years. I'm originally from the east side of Washington state where I grew up in the town of Connell, a small community of 2,000 that established in me a sense of taking care of one another. I love this about where I'm from.
I attended Whitworth College where I played collegiate basketball, and I graduated with a major in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. I found my way to the west side of the state to attend graduate school and to enjoy the nature and culture of Seattle. I graduated with a master's degree from Saybrook University in 2012 and have had a private practice in Seattle since.
I'm married to my wife Jacquie of 5 years and still enjoy picking up a basketball or soccer ball in my spare time. I also enjoy reading, hiking, and spending time with friends and family who I value greatly in my life.

Services
Being a therapist is rewarding to me on many levels.
I believe it's both my responsibility and privilege to join people on whatever journey they're on, whether they're struggling through a difficult life event, moving through a life transition, or grappling with the meaning of being a human being.
I believe the relationship of trust I develop with my clients is an important foundation to successful therapy, and it will be a primary value during our work together.
People often describe me as warm and compassionate, with a grounding presence and gentle approach to the work.
