By looking around for some help, you've already begun the process of recovery. In my office in Walnut Creek, not far from Concord and Clayton, CA, I work with adults and teens, couples and families who are dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship problems, perinatal and postpartum mood disorders, and parenting stress. Yes, this is different, but most of my clients are finding that it is very convenient and effective as in-person sessions.

I'd love to talk with you about how we might work together to get you moving into the life you want to lead. The best way to reach me is by phone, to set up a free 30-minute telephone consultation.

Life had a lot to teach me before I was ready to be a therapist.
I was that bookish kid who read Psychology Today in the library as a high school student, but I didn't have a solid sense back then, that counseling would be my calling eventually.
First, I needed to go through four years of college with a dream of being an opera singer, and I needed to learn how to fail and get on with life.
And then I needed to find a real job; so I got a Master's degree in Language Education and became an English teacher.
Do you find yourself replaying your day as you try to fall asleep, going over each mishap of the day, imagining what else might have gone sideways that you didn't notice?
Maybe you avoid speaking up in meetings, or in class, even though you have something to say.
Or maybe you cancel plans at the last minute with friends even though you'd really like to go, because the thought of actually going makes you too nervous.
Do you have neck pain, stomach aches, loss of appetite, or headaches that people tell you are "all in your head"?
Take Ygnacio Valley Road, heading East and drive 4.9 miles to Oak Grove Rd.
You will pass the new Safeway in the Orchards Shopping Center, and the new Whole Foods in the Encina Shopping center.
Turn left onto Oak Grove, and get into the right lane immediately, as you will be turning right in one block, where you see the Bank of America.
Turn right onto Citrus Avenue.
You'll see a BevMo and Denica's on your left as you drive past the first entrance to Citrus Circle.
Take the second entrance to Citrus Circle, and 3075 is the second building in from the corner of Citrus Avenue and Citrus Circle.
