After directing Lower Merion Counseling Services for over 13 years, I opened a private practice for people in the community who are experiencing relationship problems, school issues, depression, substance abuse and other emotional difficulties. I am a licensed clinical social worker who has been practicing in the field of mental health for over 30 years.
Prior to opening my private practice in Narberth in 2009, I was director of a community mental health center for over 13 years.
I have been fortunate to work with people with a variety of issues, including psychotic disorders, co-occurring disorders and family crises.
I have worked in a school district and am familiar with the IEP process and the resources that schools can offer students.

Maintained a small caseload of chronically mentally ill clients and assessed students as part of the Student Assistance Program for the Lower Merion Schools.
Starting in 1999, created and participated in the LMCS Advisory Board which gathered names for a mailing list, organized all mailings asking for contributions and planned the annual fundraiser which included an auction.
Screened initial telephone calls, referring to other facilities when appropriate and assigning them to therapists and psychiatrists if appropriate.
