Services
Dayspring Counseling Services is an outpatient private practice with several locations in Chester and Montgomery County.
Dayspring was established in 2007 and has a team of skilled and caring clinicians trained to treat a wide range of presenting concerns.
Our therapists are experienced in helping people manage and cope with issues that affect their daily functioning.
Our mission is to provide an emotionally safe environment in order to help people discuss and work through difficulties.
Dayspring Counseling Services was created in order to help bring light into the lives of others.
At Dayspring you can choose to utilize your insurance benefits or pay fee for service if you do not have insurance.
Dayspring can also offer the opportunity to meet with an intern for therapy services.
These sessions are offered at a reduced rate.
Interns are master's level therapists who are gaining clinical hours while completing their academic training.
Interns are supervised by a licensed therapist.
We do not accept Medicare/Medicaid.
Counseling is a confidential relationship that is built between you and a licensed psychologist or licensed therapist.
This relationship is established to help you explore problem areas in your life and discover solutions.
Solutions may come from changing the way you think, changing the way you feel about things, situations, or relationships, or changing the way you behave.
Counseling is a place where you can talk about emotional concerns, uncover unhealthy patterns, and learn new ways to cope with life's difficulties.
We all need help sometimes and we all have room to grow.
I believe that everyone can benefit from therapy whether it is to address a severe mental illness, to receive support through a rough season of life, or to gain greater self-knowledge and unleash your full potential.
My professional interests include (but are not limited to) psychoses, dissociative disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma, sexual abuse, weight loss, and adult ADHD.
My approach is psychodynamic, which means that we will focus on your feelings and use the therapeutic relationship to help you understand yourself better and learn new patterns of behavior.
I have experience treating a diverse range of concerns including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, behavior problems, adjustment issues, grief/loss issues, and parenting concerns.
I work with couples and individuals.
I also provide Christian counseling to those who prefer it.
I am also available to speak to groups and teach them about the various issues that lead to the need for counseling services.
I desire to help bring light into the lives of others and I see myself as a tool to be used in order to help others live richer, more meaningful lives.
